Our target is 100,000,000 MMK (≈ S$30,000). There is one fund and one target, with no split by use case. Crossworks has pledged the first 10,000,000 MMK.

How the fund works
- You contributeBuy something from the Common Cents shop, or pledge an amount in MMK.
- It goes into one fundAll contributions are pooled in a single fund with a single target.
- We back young foundersOur management team evaluates applications and funds each business to get started, and mentors from our network support them.
- It is paid forwardOnce their businesses are trading, founders share a small slice of revenue (with a cap) back into the fund, so it can back more founders.
Fund life
The fund runs for three years, from 2027 to 2029. After that, all remaining proceeds will be channelled to good causes and the fund will be closed.
Administrative costs
Up to 10% of the funds raised may be used for administrative costs, such as hiring assistants to help with sourcing founders, marketing and running the fund.
